Each month we’ll invite a top founder or entrepreneur to share his or her startup stories. In a fireside chat with Vator’s Bambi Francisco, guest speakers will discuss their personal approach to building companies, the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, and the lessons they learned along the way.
Startup Sessions are open to everyone, and we welcome all entrepreneurs, developers, and investors. Our weekly Startup Lab classes and seminars are usually private for Google Ventures portfolio companies, so we’re excited to share this speaker series with the wider tech community for the first time. Please join us!
Our first session will be on October 16, when our guest will be David Sacks, CEO and founder of Yammer. David will discuss why he started the enterprise social network in 2008, and his experience of growing the company until its acquisition by Microsoft for $1.2 billion this past June.
