Adam is a general partner at GV, where he specializes in machine learning and data technology.
Prior to joining GV in 2012, Adam was a director at Google. He led a world-class team of statisticians who built models for predicting advertiser behavior and developed systems for automating machine-learning model training. Prior to joining Google, Adam worked at Mathsoft, which developed mathematical software for mechanical and civil engineers.
Adam received his doctorate in statistics from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, where he focused on the application of statistics to public health and authored several highly cited papers.
